A helpful home improvement gesture
Home-Fix received a phone call from Mr Liau who is about to move his house and decided to donate his used furniture to the needy instead of selling it off.
After a check with the teachers at Northlight School, we got to know that these items came in handy for a needy student. The mum of a student was just released from a shelter and managed to rent a 1 room flat. Upon hearing about the current situation of the student& the family, Mr Liau decided to sponsor some more items, for example, sofa, fan, coffee table, wardrobe, fridge & washer. The items donated managed to make the house a simple yet cosy home for the student and her family.
We are thankful to teachers from Northlight for sharing on the needs of their student. On behalf of the student of Northlight and her family, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Mr Liau, for all the items donated by him. Not forgetting to give our thanks too, to our handy man Vincent whom has kindly agreed to sponsor the delivery services provided for this needy student.
